About
Dr. Grigorios Gkasdaris is a certified neurosurgeon specialized in brain & spinal surgery. He graduated with honors from the Medical School of the Democritus University of Thrace in 2017. His training started in Greece ("Georgios Papanikolaou" Hospital in Thessaloniki & KAT Hospital in Athens) and then he completed his training in Switzerland (CHUV, Lausanne) and mostly in France (Hospices Civils de Lyon). His main areas of interest are spinal surgery, neurosurgical oncology and vascular neurosurgery. Dr Gkasdaris has authored/co-authored numerous research studies published in Medline/Pubmed, has participated in several international courses and congresses, and holds a PhD from the Democritus University of Thrace, with a research focus on the unruptured intracranial aneurysms. He is a member of the Greek (HNS), French (SFNC) and European Neurosurgical society (EANS).
